Shorty, I mean SCAN WHILE DRIVING. Not just scan for codes. I want to know if you run lean, or what your fuel trims are during the times you have problems.

While that may explain some of his symptoms, this one still stands out:

It also dies at random times when slowing down to turn or stop
He may have more than one problem.

my 94 SSE did that when it got to a half tank or below when the pump was going out, the pump, strainer, and filter were changed and havent had the problem since. My 92 SSEi is now doing the same thing, but that is 1/4 tank and under, and i really dont feel like replacing the fuel pump right now, but it will prolly happen sooner or later, From your symptoms, i am seriously thinking it to be the fuel pump/strainer, cause it is a pain the butt to make a sharp right and then have to coast off to the side of the road to restart, or when someone pulls out in front of u and u slam on ur brakes, and car dies, but havent had this problem after replacing the above mentioned parts.

I did have vacuum leaks before, but have since replaced almost all the lines. The stumbly at low rpms could be plug wires or coil pack I suppose, and not associated with the dying out, When it died 3 times in a row the other day it was right at 1/2 tank. Also, about a week ago, I had a problem with it holding rpms when I let off the gas, it wouldnt slow down, in neutral it went to 4 grand, turned it off and restarted it, and it just started choking out every once in a while, I havent had anything weird like that since I replaced the tPS though

Unlikely. I'd say he uses the brakes to slow down or stop-thus causing engine vacuum to drop when the power (vacuum) brakes are applied. Make sense?

Like I said, one hot fudge sundae says it'* a vacuum leak.

Default stop

Bad IAC valves try to stall the car during stops.
You didn't mention if you removed and cleaned it.
I'm also thinking vacume or fuel related.
