Default Idler Pulley
Bought my new idler pulley today and noticed it was metal. the old one was plastic is there a reason that the new ones are metal?

i went to napa and took my plastic idler in and asked for a new one for my car and they gave me a metal one so i guess that is what i'm saying.

Great. You will probably not have to worry about this part again. Did you replace the Serpentine Belt or was it in good condition before you replaced the idler pulley?
