my Icm failed with no warning, I just pulled into the parking lot at work and it died, it would crank but not fire, had it towed home, got some info on the internet, did some how to tests and it was a bad icm, replaced it and it fired right up

You have 2 threads started about the same topic, this will create confusion. I need to remove one of them, which one?

thanks cliff..i hope your right..i don't want to be a parts changer..it'* messing with my head..watch i'll go out and try to start it and it will fire up with a tad bit of hesitation but continually run until I get it up to normal temp.turn it off and then retry and it will fire every time.several times..but then i'll go out hours later and try and nothing.this car is off to the scrapyard in at least hopefully after I got enough money saved up in about another year or two, that'* if the underbody lasts..it'* rusted through in many places.i almost didn't have any metal left to bolt up to my subframe.out of the six connection points I only have four that are connected to the body.the 2 fronts under radiator support which is about almost gone and the 2 center ones, the ones behind that are done..mike,you choose which thread you want to delete.thanks.
