OK I'm gonna go into town and pick up a Chilton'* or Hayne'* manual, that should get me started on figuring out how to do the job.
Is this gasket set any good?
Intake Manifold Gasket Set
Or should I just find a Felpro one?
Thanks for all the help guys. I'm also gonna go to the JY and find an ICM if I can get one for cheap anyways, but I'm going to repair this as well. Is there any other way than coolant loss to determine if that is the source of the loss of coolant? Though from the description of the problem, after 12 years and 150k the gaskets should be replaced anyways.

get the aluminum framed ones from the dealer

GM just started offering these aluminum-framed replacement gaskets the summer of 2005 and to date, there has been no other place to get them. If you use anything less than the GM aluminum-framed gaskets, you will be assured of having to replace them again in a few years.
GM Aluminum Frame Lower Intake Manifold Gasket set: GM PN# 89017816
As mentioned already, some have found their local GM dealer to carry these with a slightly different P/N, but this will get you where you need to be.

Should I get them from the dealer as well. Stupid library didn't have a manual for the 3800 >< Is there a how-to with pictures or anything floating around, or should I buy a manual off ebay?
