mine broke. i went to autozone.com and got the one they reccommend for 40 bucks and it doesnt work. i will return it but what is the AC Delco replacement #?

If you buy one from AutoZone it has to be fully automatic, and it will also require some modifications to make it mount correctly.

If you only need the mast, it'* 22154379.
The whole assembly is 88891021.

Yikes... you can get the mast only? Including the core, right? Is that current for 1993 models?

Reason I ask is that when mine broke, I got the usual song-and-dance about how they could order only the whole antenna, for $xxx.xx. I ended up just fixing the core myself. (It'* about 9" shorter now because of where it had broken off inside, but at least it'* working again. I have the instructions I wrote out for that around here somewhere...)

Oops. Andy, the mast by itself is only about 20 bucks. At least this time you don't have to drill the rivets out!

I TO GOT MINE FROM A JUNK YARD. I PAID 10 FOR MINE AND IT WAS LIKE BRAND NEW ALSO. IT STILL WORKS GOOD. THAT WAS A YEAR AGO. MY OTHER ONE WENT UP ONE DAY AND NEVER WENT BACK DOWN.. REAL EASY TO INSTALL. JUST 2 BOLTS I THINK AND POOF IT IS OFF. THEN REPLACE!!! THAT EASY. IT SHOULD WORK FOR YOU AGAIN AFTER THAT. GOOD LUCK AND LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES.
