Eh... I say choose your battles. Save your dealer favors for when you _really_ need one; you can get flares at K mart or Wal-Mart for $3. In fact the ones I got with the car (when it was 3 years old) looked so decrepit (I think the idiot previous owner got them wet somehow), I just tossed them and bought a fresh set later...
True that,3$ for flares not worth a hissy fit

Either that, or start scrounging junkyards...
Thank you so much!

so I take a print of the picture (from Paulnold, earlier in this topic) and I go to the local Pontiac dealer yesterday afternoon, just before closing time, and I go to the parts counter guy, and hand it to him, and ask him if he can get me one, and he looks at the picture, and there'* no one else there, so he says wait, and he disappears into the back, and he comes out like 5 minutes later, carrying this big dusty bag, and he brushes it off, and it'* an Accessory Kit, and it'* complete (air hose with gauge, plastic instruction card, air hose fittings, trouble lamp, bungee cord, ice scrapper, lightstick, first aid kit, 2 rags, 2 pairs of gloves, orange poncho) and it'* never been used and on the package for the lightstick is says "use by 2/98" and he hands the kit to me, and he says they had a car for sale like 7 years ago, and they took the kit out while the car was sitting on the lot, and then they forgot to put the kit back when the car sold, and the owner never came in to ask for it, and it'* been sitting in the back ever since gathering dust and I ask him how much, and he says no charge.

Your car is probably pre-wired for it. I know the wreckers charge 100 bucks or so for the pump. Besides that, you should have a wiring harness in the trunk FRONT corner, right behind your right rear passenger, next to the RR wheelwell. That harness is for a relay and valve. This is the part of the system the diverts the air from the ELC (Electronic Level Control), which you probably don't have, to the utility air outlet. The switches and air outlet go just to the left of the trunk latch on that piece of vertical trim in the trunk. This is the piece that backs up to your tail. If you had a load of beer in the exact middle of the trunk, and jammed the loud pedal, the beer would slide right into this trim. You should have a small blockoff plate about 1x1.5" in the hole where the switche panel goes.

You need to know if you have the harness for the pump power under the hood also. It goes just to the driver'* side of your Throttle Body, towards the driver from the airbox. If you have harenesses in these three areas, you could get the air/switch panel from a wrecker, the valve and relay, and the pump. Then all you need is the air hose to hook up from time to time!
