I love my '93 Bonny, but I need her to quit stalling on me!

I had the same, very small, very slow power steering fluid leak on my red car. I topped it off every week with Prestone power steering fluid plus stop-leak. After 6 weeks the leak had stopped.

I've been told not to use stop leak fluids because they don't last very long, but I've gone for 2 years on this "temporary fix." So I'd recommend it.

My '94 leaked at the power steering cooler. Trace the power steering line down from the pump to the underneath of the car the cooler is mounted on the frame by the oil pan. It'* square shaped with slotted fins and 2 u-shaped lines running into it. Start the car then check for where it'* leaking. Hopefully it won't be your rack and pinion unit. That'* pricey to replace.

Been driving the car sporadically for a week or so and everything seems fine so far. However I've got just two (hopefully) minor things to ask about.

1) As it turns out my leak was I'm pretty sure engine coolant, not power steering fluid. I thought it was the power steering fluid because I checked it and it was just below the lowest line (with the "cold" line being #3 of 4) and I wasn't able to pinpoint where the spot on the garage was in relation to the engine. But when I topped off with some stop-leak PS fluid I noticed my coolant reservoir was very very low and, since I was paying closer attention this time, noticed that the spot in the garage was most likely coming from here. I bought some fluid and a bottle of stop leak but I'm really nervous about messing with the radiator and stuff as per the instructions on the stop leak bottle. What do I need to know when messing with the radiator?

2) My A/C blows cold but it hardly comes out of my vents. Is there anything quick and easy I could try to get them to blow better? Maybe something is clogged somewhere that I don't know about right now.

This forum has been a godsend and I'm very appreciative for your help.

well for your second problem im going to guess that either you flap in you vent system is not moving correctly and or your blower motor is getting weak and not spinning as fast as it should be

check to see if air is coming out of the defroster and the floor just as much or faster than you vents while you have it sent to the dash vents this will tell you if your flap is acting up and not directing it exactly where it should go
