Default I have my own howl

A little less than 2k rpm, steady speed, I have a howl. I don't think it'* a wheel bearing, because it goes away if I unlock the torque convertor or otherwise change engine speed. I'm guessing it could be an intake noise.

I've tried jacking it up and wiggling the wheels. I've got some left and right movement, that seems to be steering rack or tie rod slop, but nothing top and bottom.

So, it'* not speed related but rpm related, then?

Does it do it at rest at the same rpms or only while moving?

Being rpm related is it the same howl no matter how fast you are moving, as long as the engine is at 2000 rpm?

Yep, rpm steady between 1700 - 2000 rpm. I haven't tried holding it at 2k in park to see what happens, I'll give that a try.
