As far as I noticed the speedometer did it and the tachometer did the same. Im tellin you though, it all happened in an instant, if it werent for the thump I wouldnt have looked down. Well I tightened the gas cap, but Im 99.9% sure it was tightened all the way. The light howvere DID go off. If I go to autozone today will they be able to tell me what it was?

They'll be able to tell you what it was depending on what it was. Make sense?

I can tell you what it WASN'T. It wasn't your gas cap. :?

If it was speedo only, and the bump was related, it COULD be a diff pin or other trans issue in that general area of the VSS. Something to keep an eye on (fluid color). This would probably NOT set a code this early on. It must get much worse first.

If it was a power bump (temp loss), you probably won't throw a code either, but you're better off checking for them FIRST, so you can whittle away at it.

Id rather not...

Will, I assume you mean tranny fluid correct?

Could any of this be related to the leak I had in my car that same day?

I spent that entire day trying to dry it out, but there was water everywhere, alot of it came in from the windshield(which has been fixed), but more is comin from an unknown sourse I think.

Still havent gone to autozone yet, I dread that place and there no-it-all ********.

Could be related if the water go into the maxifuse relay center.

Ok so the code is a Cam Shaft Position Sensor. Tomorrow Im going to play around with it and see if its loose/melted/etc. Any other things I should look out for while Im reaching down there?
