Default i got nothin after it gets hot...what is it?

ok i was drivin today and wehn my car gets to 220 degrees and then goes back down to 195 after getting on the highway...well after that if i floor it after its back down tot 195it gets all boggy and doenst want to go...what could cause this???????

I get the same thing. I thought it was knock retard killing my power or air/fuel mixture after it gets soooo hot. Maybe the aircharge from the intake is too hot?

when you say converter JR< are you talking torque converter? I hope not, mine is new.

i hope not, mine is new. :P

where is the temp gauge actually reading from? Is it just coolant temp? or a combination of more then 1 sensor? (like IAT)

Cool, i got the tool i just need help interpreting what it all means. I am going to go out in a while and record a session when the traffic dies down a little and i can open 'er up. i was thinking my MAF sensor or IAT sensor is going bad and when the intake charge gets super hot, it is telling the PCM rich/lean/rich/lean like every second. when i first got the EASE scantool kit, (just got the laptop back FINALLY), i noticed that but really didnt know what else to look at or if that was suppsed to do that.

What else would be helpful to capture? any help is much appreciated!
