k, next time u hear that humming, go to the drivers fuse panel, and pull the fuse that says Electonic Leveling Control..or ELC... if it shuts off, bingo, meaning you probally have a torn line going to one or to both of your rear air adjustable shocks...neat stuff eh?! lol

ummm.. there is no ELC and no lumbar compressor on a SLE,

His is a 99, the ELC pump is behind the passengers wheel.
