howling bonnie????
hi there fellow bonnies!!! just signed up. 1st question on my ride. I have a 92 *.e. when i'm going down the road i'm getting a howling noise and then when i give it aquick turn to the right it goes away. any thoughts????
Can you try it with a cold engine with the belt removed from the car? You should be able to drive 3-5 minutes safely with no water pump, but start with a cold car.
Does the noise go away? If so, we'll start looking at pulleys.

Just jacked up the passenger side of the car and wiggled the wheel back and forth and there is deffinatly alittle bit of play there. I jacked up the other side to see if it had the same amount of play and there is none on the driveers side. What'* all invoved in replacing the hub can i do it myself or do i have to take it to the car doctors????
