How to tighten locknut on upper rear strut mount?
Dumb question guys...Im in the middle of installing new sensatrac rear struts on the 93 Park Ave and I cant figure out how to torque down the main locknut on the rear upper strut mount. Instruction say to torque to 74 ft. lbs. but it turns free as wrench on it - how do I prevent the stem from turning so I can torque that sucker down and get on with the job!
Thanks a million all.

Buy something like this.

I picked one up years ago at Pep Boys. They likely still carry it.

Done w/ struts!
Thanks Archon. That tool made life easy. Thanks! I'm sore and my knuckles are busted up, but the struts are in and after the alignment the Sensa Tracs are awesome.
