Stick your hand down between the rear of the bottom cushion and the bottom of the upper cushion, then lift up. Once u get that done push forward on the front of the lower cushion one side at a time and lift out.

I did not take the seats out to run my amp wires, I jsut shoved my hand through where the back support and but support meet at the passenger side of the car. Pleanty of room for 2 arms in there.

Although I would like to know how to get the seat out because this spring I will be insulating it all.

to get the backrest out you need to remove the nuts that hold hte seatbelts in, and the other wingnuts that are down there, and then just lift up

Make sure when you put the seat back in, to line everything up, and the cushion part where you sit on can be a totall biatch.

There is a retainer slot for the bench on each side of the car about a foot inboard of the door. I have always removed the bench part of the seat by squatting in the rear footwell, facing the rear of the car. Then push the frame of the seat bench toward the back of the car with my knee, as I lift up on the bench. Once you have popped the bench out you will see the nuts that hold the seat back in place. But you should have enough room to run the wires without removing the seat back..
