For those of you who have personally done this, how long did it take you to remove the leather seat covers from an SSEi, and do you have any tips to help someone else do that?
And does anyone know if the seat covers from '98 SSEi seats fit on my '93 SSEi seats?
I've already searched the forum, and I've found the other posts about seat covers, but I'm hoping someone will know the answers to these specific questions.
Thanks.

If you plan on doing this, remove the seats from the car. It makes it alot easier to get the new covers back on.
Call it 2 or 3 hours for both seats including removing from the car. Not sure on the fit, but I'd bet the covers are identical, but the colors are not the same.

um i dont know how to say this....but there some incorrect responses.....
I did a seat back removal in a junkyard with BillBoost in less that 15 minuets....and that included the headrest removal that fought us. didnt have to remove the seat that there was no power to move the seats either.....there are some Hog rings that hold the seat cover to the metal frame of the seat...once the hog rings are removed the cover slides right off....
and the 98 seats are a different color than the 93

Pat..that was a FRONT seat, and I think the topic started off with the intent that the leather only would be removed..not the whole seat cover.
But yes..on the seat cover..give Pat 15 minutes to get the hog rings and yell about the headrest..then when he'* not looking pop the headrest in record time.
