Could someone be more specific on the location of the ceramic insulator? I hate to admit this, but I can't even see the horns on my '99 (Damned think is nearly impossible to honk anyway, the thing I dislike most about the car.)
There is a plastic box of some sort next to the air filter housing but it doesn't seem very moveable. Is this module underneath that?
Damned modern cars.

The resistor is 6 inches back from the front end metal that goes across and supports the radiator. Drivers side fender. Looks like a whitish ceramic baby horseshoe with wires. When you find it...you'll find one of your horns.
If all else fails have someone hit the horn after you unhook the p/* side.

Someone posyed a pic of the resistor in another thread somewhere. It is tucked behind that "black box" up against the fender.
Now, if someone has access to thier FSM (I'm at work), does that wire run just the DRLs? If so, that would be how one could move them from the low beams to the center marker/turn signal lights

Soooo, in theory (right now anyway), one could re-route this wire over to the center markers and have Buick style DRLs...
If so, this could come in handy for our Canadidian friends who are required to run DRLs, but don't wanna burn up thier Low Beams....

it the big white rectangleular shaped resistor.
i just took the pmc cover off and removed 2 screws that mount the stock air intake so u have some play to move it around, their is a thumb clip that connects it to the resistor and just use ur thumb the take it off and ur done. i tucked the wire in a safe stop so it doesnt get caught on anything.
