how do i remove the back seat in my 97 se? does it just pop out like on 00+?

pull up from the back of the seat.....the push backwards to release the clips....

for the back there is 2 19mm bolts on the seatbelts, them pick the seat straight up

assuming you have buckets, you have to remove the little plastic pieces that cover the bolts on all 4 corners of the seat. Then remove the plastic piece that covers the seat belt bar. (T47)

to remove them, once the covers are removed, use a 13 or 15 mm, and then a torx T47 to remove the seat belt holder.

Yeah, for the seat portion, I climb in there, face the back, jam my knee into the middle of each seat(one at a time), and push back and up.
It'* kind of akward to do with just your hands.
