Default how do i remove the headlights

hi im alittle confused here. i have the service manual but cant find my regular manual. The service manual does not tell how to remove the headlight assembly. Im trying to put in some new silverstar bulbs. How do i do it? If someone can please help me that be great.

if you can't do it by just changine the bulbs, then to make it really easy to you need to pull the turn signal housing out(un clip then pull parallel to the car straight forward)

then undo the 2 bolts and pull it out.

Can you just press in a tab and turn the headlight socket then slide it out? Are you sure you have to take the headlight assembly out to change a bulb?

1996-1999 is a bad era for having to change a light.

theres like two 13mm bolts, then just slide to the left and pull, or right depending on what side. its not really as difficult as it seems

Yep...simple as can be,make sure the bolts are tight tho,didn't get mine tight enough and when I would hit a bump the it looked like I was going night hunting
