Give it a few days and check it cold, if there is any loss while the engine is hot it will usually pull the coolant from the overflow when it cools off... If you even manage to empty the overflow in a hurry, you have some serious issues that need to be adressed in a hurry...

For the longest time we have said this was the single largest downfgall of the L36 engines... A sorry design for the EGR port in the intake... But the problems can be fixed if caught early, which holds true for most cases... There are a few that have had the botom end go bad due to extended coolant contamination of the oil, and even then the oil will not always look milky...
