Random Stalling issue
I have a random stalling issue on my 1994 Bonneville that I just can't figure out.
In the morning at times the car will idle really high and want to take off on it'* own, the gauges will jump as well and the chime will do 3 short dings and then the check engine light will flash once quickly. Other times the check engine light will be lit right after starting the car. At times it will try to stall and the gauges on the dash will jump quickly and then go back to normal.
CPS and TPS have already been replaced. I'm wondering if it'* a ground issue but both ground busses in the driver and passenger footwells were fine. I cleaned them just in case but they were pretty flawless.
What else could this be? It'* very random, sometimes it will go a few weeks without issue and sometimes it will stall 4 times in just a few short miles.
Any ideas?

Battery connections are good, the battery cable is fairly new and has no signs or corrosion. I should also mention that the alternator and battery are also both good. Car starts right back up after stalling.

Don't assume that your battery connections are good just because it starts up ok. Take apart the positive cable and clean ALL connections there. If the original red plastic cover is still there it can retain moisture and corrosion may be hiding underneath it.

Could it be the ICM is bad?

You have to get it scanned for codes....unfortunately it'* a 94 and you'll probably have to take it to a mechanic with a scanner that can read cars prior to 96.
It very well could be the ICM but at $125-$230 for a brand new ICM I think you need a proper diagnosis.

Check this link out for diagnosing your ICM, it does not list your model, but the test should still be valid, you have the exact same ICM as I do, and the test is valid for my 96' Park Ave.
Part 1 -GM 3.8L Ignition Control Module and Crank (3X, 18X) Sensor Test
Or if you have a local auto-parts store nearby try taking it to them, they should test it for you, I am not sure if you have to remove it or not, but if so they are easy to remove, just make sure you label your plug wires, and maybe take a pic of coil pack orientation just in case,

I had most of those issues a few months back, blinkers didn't always work, missfired, dings every few minutes.
Ended up fixing it by switching out the ICM for a used one out of a junk yard. Cost $60.
