How to diagnose a bad harmonic balancer?
Hi I have my front passenger side tire off as i am changing the cam sensor and figured i could check the balancer as i have an awfull rattle that go'* away on load but sounds god awful at idle, so far i have changed tension pully'sx2 as well as the sc coupler, thanks to this awesome forum!! but the rattle is still there and I have to figure this out so any tips on what to look for would be appreciated.

Looking at the face of the balancer, do you see any breaks in the rubber, cracks etc? If you had been running for long like that...it would be making a racket that nearly sounds like a bad motor.
