My ideal would be 18'*, with a 245 width. 255'* will work with some minor modifications in order to go full-lock on the steering. 245 clears just fine.

Im gonna check with the kid I used to work with. He has 18'* on his car & I think they are a perfect fit. Except ever since he got the wheels installed on his SSE his rear end sits up higher. Ill try & get pictures of his car while I am at it.

Me personally , I would say go for the 20'* . I have 20'* on a 89 SSE & 97 SE and i love the way they look. I guess it all depends on what kind of ride your looking for. With the 18'* it'* going to give you more of comfort ride, because you can use a bigger series tires.

I was just going to say the same thing. If you go much bigger than 18", they just don't look right, in fact they look downright funny. 18" and bigger look better on bigger vehicles like the Navigator or the Escalade. IMHO

i went from 16'* wit 60/225s (stock) to 18'* wit 45/245s. a perfect fit, like Will mentioned. I wouldnt go any smaller on sidewall if you plan to actually drive it for performance. you put 20'* on with 30'* or 35'* you better look out for every pebble in the road and dont take any sharp turns.
