Hot day no power

Can anyone tell me why on a day with the temp in the 90s my car seems to have no power, but anything below 85 degrees its performs fine. Does anyone else have this problem?

Check the intake air temp sensor.

That would be the sensor before the throttle body, in the intake hose right? Is there a way to test that?
