It'* good to know that it is common, but it is not convenient espcially after being use to "regular" horns. on wednesday a car started backing up..we were in line and he wanted to get straight (didn't see me i guess) anyway he started backing up all of a sudden and i tried the horn but did not get it in the "right spot" and ended up throwing the car in reverse..luckily he only backed up a few feet and no-one was behind me. It'* at times like that the horn pisses me off..thanks for the info all.

I was messing with my horn today, and discovered the easiest way to get a "honk" from any part of the center steering wheel. Not only do you need to push IN, but also push straight UP in one fluid motion. So the button (at least on my 9 works best when pushed at an upward angle. I get a nice "HONK" with no problem now. Hope that makes sense and good luck!
