Power Steering Part # Needed
I hope you parts gods can help me out here. What I need is a part number, if it exists, for the electronic valve on a power steering pump with “electronic steering”. Turns out the plastic valve housing is cracked on my 93 SSE, that’* what’* been leaking for the past several months. I’m running with a replacement from the boneyard, and it works OK, but I hate having an electrical connection not being hooked up, and I hate “downgrading”. If I can replace the electronic valve, I can reinstall my original pump (which worked fine, just leaked).
For Your Reference: The “standard” pump and the “electronic” pumps are identical, other than the electronic pump has an electronic valve that is threaded into the supply port of the pump. The standard pump just has a fitting to accept the hose. Swapping from electronic to standard requires absolutely no modifications of any kind. I do notice that it takes a bit more effort to steer at very low speeds – more than it used to, anyway.

This is the valve I need. You can see the crack in the plastic. The bolded arrow is where this electronic valve separates from the pump and where, on a standard pump, there would merely be a fitting for the power steering hose.

The resources I have don't list the valve fitting seperately, but I notice 4 digits in your picture. What are they 2412 maybe? If so, my guess (an educated guess only), is that the first 4 digits are 2602 or 2604, making it 2602 2412 or 2604 2412??
In any case, it appears that the pump with the electronic control for '92-94 is P/N 26045643.
Verify the numbers on the part and maybe use the info to talk to your local dealer'* parts guy. He should be able to help from there.

RPO code T2V. That'* the pump.
SSEi'* may not have the code listed as it was part of an option group RPO for them.
My SLE, however, has the code listed. So basically any car listed as T2V, or any SSEi from 92-94.

T2V is not in my RPO list in the trunk either - apparently a standard option for SSE+ trim level? Main thing to look for is the valve on the supply line of the pump - it may have a connector with 2 wires coming off it too. Should be fairly easy to spot. None of the crafts I looked at in the bone yard had the valve on them. Buuuut, I only looked at cars with an identical-looking pump. That is to say the reservoir was the same. I suspect the pump itself is used on several GM products with a different reservoir, making them appear to be different units.
