Default HELP! High temp! EDIT: Coolant spilling all over.

Hey guys, installed new fogs last night, everything was good until this morning my temp went to about 220. On the way home from work tonight it was at 250!? Whats happening? I don't think i have ever saw my car about 190. Whats the first thing to check?? Could this have any correlation with there i place the fog light wires?

Your fog lights are in the stock location, right? You had a coolant flush and have the 180 stat put in recently? My car has gotton pretty hot, but just in the summer, I havent reached 190 yet this fall/winter.

If its leaking on the filter side of the engine a common place would be be waterpump weep hole. When they tend to go they tend to go. car you see any thing dripping on the belt side of the engine? anything on the subframe? could also be the TB gasket but, that would drip down on the trans

There'* a plastic coolant hose/attatchement where the elbow. I forget if it'* the return or feed line, but they do break. There is a metal replacement available from GM. Check all the coolant fittings and such.
