Default chime problem

When i'm driving, every few seconds 3 chimes sound off "bing"
"bing"
"bing"

When I come to a stop the chimes stop and then when I hit the gas it starts again. Anyone has any solutions??

You have an SSEi. On the driver information center to the right of the speedo..

It should be lighting something up and telling you what it'* problem is...

i guess there is the freak chance that his DIC lights could be burnt out? so that he couldnt see what was wrong?

I would suggest taking it to Autozone or equivalent and having them scan it for codes.

unless of course youre just running low on gas.

It does it when I have a full tank>
The brake and tail lamp indicators are on but the lights work and they have been even before I had this problem

my car does the same thing. It says one of my tail lights is out. If you haven't you should also check the light(*) that illuminate your rear plate. All of mine work, but the indicator is still there. I'm used to the chime everytime i turn on the car now. At times i'll also get a notice that the 3rd brake light is out {when it isn't}, but that'* just every so often. There is probably something you can do to stop the false alarm, but my car has more important needs at the moment
