What your gauge is telling you is there's something plumbed wrong in your vacuum. Either in boost control (BCA/BCS) or boost indication (MAP sensor or gauge).

Ignore it.

You have knocking noises. Diagnose that FIRST. Noises become fatal.

Follow the advice above please.

Check the oil in the SC.
Remove the SC belt and start the car. While the belt is off, rotate the SC pulley back and forth. How does it feel?
Check the oil. What does it look like? What does it look like after running for a few minutes?

Are any vacuum lines on the top of the engine disconnected or damaged?

Well if the engine had stalled i dont think you would have oil pressure anyway, so i dont think that you would have a problem there unless there is no pressure when running (obviously)

Also where are you located? maybe theres a member close by that can lend you some assistance ;)

thanx but yes currently when i start the car there is no oil pressure but i checked the dip stick and the level is fine..the guage is reading no oil pressure..after the stall..so i am wondering if the guage is faulty or if there are vac lines that need replacing...i will check this too tomorrow when i check the sc...

After a STALL the oil pressure SHOULD be zero.

What is it before it stalls?

Scar what? Be more GENERAL. State? Province? Major city? This is a WORLDWIDE forum.

after the stall i RESTARTED THE CAR and while the car was running the pressure read ZERO

while the car was running the guage reads zero while at IDLE the oil guarge says it has ZERO pressure

If your oil pressure was truly zero, you would have no fuel. The PCM cuts off the fuel supply to stall the car if the oil pressure drops. This is to protect the engine.

Get an aftermarket oil pressure gauge on the car as a first priority.

XLR, I can sense and understand your frustration, but you have to understand ours as well. We are VERY good at solving problems from thousands of miles away if you follow our instructions carefully and answer our questions without jumping to conclusions.

We do this every day. Take it slow, answer the questions, and try the things we suggest.

Or go to a GM dealer and pick up a new oil pressure sensor (I recommend City Buick ;) its at Vic Prk & Lawrance ;) )
