headliner removal
This thing needs to come out and get fixed. I need step-by-step instructions on how to take it out, otherwise I'm gonna break something. Thank you so much. (1993 SLE, no sunroof)

well, to do it proper, the front seats, console and passenger door need to come off to get it out. If you have full glass coverege, there might be another option....
Search for JohnDeereBoy'* post. I think It was him who did a writeup

When I had mine done, the guy who did it was able to pull it out through the front passenger side door and all he did was recline the front seats and they don't even recline all the way back.

I did this to my 92 SSEi a couple months ago.
I recommend gutting the interior (center console, both front seats, and bench seat bottom). I took mine out the passenger rear door.
IMO, removing the door seems a little excessive. The excess room that is purchased by removing the front door can easily be compensated for by removing the back seat bottom. Then, just slip it out either back door.

it is a little tight, so be careful of the edges. good to have 3-5 people to help and it should be fine. I had 2 and I messed up the edges some getting it out the rear door without the seat in.
