Noreal good answer for you but I did hear once that there was a recall on the twighlight sentinal switch for things happening similar to this. You might need a new switch.

Just a thought...

My friend had a prob with his. It turned out being the twilight sentinel **** that turns was pulled out a bit somehow, and when he pushed the lights off, the switch didn't go in all the way. He pushed the twilight sentinel **** thing in more with some force, and it was fixed

it'* the **** that turns under the **** you pull out to turn the lights on. It just makes your lights come on when it'* dark out.

i guess if you get in your car and your gonna be driving for a while and don't feel like remembering to turn your lights on when it gets dark, you just turn the **** instead of pulling out the normal one and when it starts to get dark the lights will go on automatically

the twighlight sentinenal makes your headlights stay on after the engine is turned off if you move it all the way to max they stay on for like 3 minutes and if its on min they wont stay on at all but if u move it to like the first or 2nd bar they stay on for like 20-30 sec.i use it cause we got snakes out the bunghole here

Like the others said, check the setting of your Twilight Sentinel, the control ring around the headlight ****. Turning it fully clockwise until it clicks will switch it off, and give you full control of the lights using the main ****. Turning it on (counterclockwise) will turn your lights on automatically when it gets dark, and keep them off after shutdown for a length of time from 5 seconds to 4 minutes, depending on the setting of the control ring (turning it counterclockwise increases the length of time).

Got the owner'* manual for this car? If not, do so; there'* lots of reading to wade through.
