those are junk aftermarket bulbs that you can pick up at autozone and such for like $8.99 or so. no real extra light or color. if ya want more light get silver stars

Seeing that you have a 99, the silver star ultras will work great. I don't recommend them for 2000+ because the headlights are mounted differently and they blow out. But yours are rubber mounted and last much longer.
