I called the tranny shop today and they said to replace the pressure switch was 290.00 due to the labor to get the cover off.

Mine doesn't shift hard all the time and when it does it you shut it off and restart it shifts smooth as glass. I was wondering about Lucas or Seafoam and if it would help this. The shop said it will do no good.

If you do use it do you need to drain and refill after using or can you leave it in? Interested n hearing if anyone has used it for this problem with success.

I've used it before and it actually firmed up the shifts on saggy transmissions with 100k+ miles on it.

I would imagine if your issue is caused by any type of build up in the valve body, it could possibly help. The can instructs you to change the trans fluid within 100 miles after adding this I believe.
