Default Has anyone broke the Spacers on their Fuel Injectors 92-93 ?

Has anyone had the fun that I've had with Back Up Spacers breaking on there Fuel Injectors ?

Durring the process of changing the Fuel Injector O-Rings the Back Up Spacers have broke off a couple of my injectors.
The Spacers are so brittle that they snaped on me.

Sorry about starting a second post but I need a solution for this asap.

See the previous post:

See the Pics Below:

Anyone have this happen to them before ?

If so what did you use in place of the Spacer ?

I was thinking of using 2nd O-Ring on the bottom of the Injector to fill the gap where the Spacer usually sits.

Any suggestions would be Great,
Thanks,
Dutch

FYI..........Just to let anyone know who is interested.

I solved my problem by taking my original Injectors to a place that Rebuilds them and Ultrasonic Cleans them (They also Rebuild Engines and Repair Rims). They replaced the Spacers with ones that are similar.
They are busy so it sometimes takes a while. For my Injectors it took about 4 days before they were ready.
They are in the West end of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Below is the info for any that are in the GTA:

Weston Cylinder Head Supply OR Mr.Cylinder Head
118 Rivalda Road (Weston & Sheppard)
(416)745-3815

I also found another site while trying to figure out what to do about this. This site is very informative and they have alot of pictures of the process.
