hey guys i hit a curb awhile ago and got a new rim lower CA and the frame was shifted not bent so it was moved back but its not that big of a deal but its just a WEEbit harded to turn right than it is to turn left BTW i hit the right front rim what would cause this and what could i change to fix this Thanks guy!
Maybe you are asking the rack and tie rods to move in a way that they were not designed to move. Especially if the rack is no longer located where it used to be. Maybe you bent an inner tie rod and it binds on a right turn. I would recommend you take it to a reputable frame shop and ask them for an opinion of what is wrong and for an estimate. Most will do that for free or for a small fee. You can then perform the necessary repairs yourself if you have the facilities. Driving it with stress on the steering linkage would seem to be a perilous plan.
BTW, you are the second H-body in a week here on BC with a curb hit, wheel and control arm damage. :(
Keep in mind that you could probably get an entire sub-frame assembly from a junkyard for not a whole lot of $. But you may need work done to the mounts as well to pull them into specified position. That'* why you really need the frame shop estimate.
