Default Hard Rain hit my Bonnie started and drove then would not start where to look?

Well rained here hard last night my bonnie started and I left for work, I stopped to grab some food and came back to my bonnie and she wouldn't start. The starter turned over but it acted like no fuel or no spark or both. I am not sure it hasn't done this before and I think something got wet from all of the rain. I need to know where to look? I know this sounds dumb but I am not sure where the water and what to look for what could cause this? One other note could a clogged fuel filter do this as well? Thanks

I would start with checking teh ICU and coils to make sure they are dry. That'* what the plug wires come from. Also check the plug wires, and wires going to injectors. Dry it off best you can an dsee if that helps.

Yes, a clogged fuel filter can prevent a car from starting.

Trixster...Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

Check you floor boards and under your dash for water on the floor also.

I let the car sit for awhile at it started right up? No wet floors inside and I am going to take off the coils and check the ICU and stuff this week sometime. I will try to let you know what I find out. Thanks again for your help

My car used to not start in humid weather or rain. I'd have to go under the hood and mess with the plugs.
Turns out my wires and coils were bad.

I never bothered to fix it, after a few runs it only took me a minute to get the car on, but it'* still a pain in the butt.

Use some dielectric grease on the connections. this should help keep them dry.
