Well one comes off the negative post of the battery. There are others that ground out on the engine & frame too. Maybe if you tell me whay you need to find a certain ground wire, I can help you better? :?

I think I can smell this one. You might also be looking at a firewall connector Bridget. Your asking about main ground wires made me think of this. Your TC signal, MAF, and Ignition pulse may all be in the same connector passing through the firewall. These can be a source of corrosion on the older cars, especially if they haven't been driven recently. They can be a bear to get to, though.
