Yep... that was me. I thought about it for a while.. and found the simplest solution ( due to normal light and DRL ) was to simply tap a switch for the ground side instead. I ran a 10 gauge ( you don't have to.. I just like to make sure the wires can handle the load.. paranoia thing ) from passenger side headlight ground onto the wire.. ran in to the driver side headlight.. took the ground from that side and spliced it onto the 10 gauge.. and ran that into the cabin to a switch, and on the other end of the switch was just a wire tapped onto a screw secured against the chassis ( any metal part of the floor wall area ). Now when you flick the switch.. it cuts the ground, incompleting the circuit, therefore disabling the headlights.. period ( no normal, no DRL'* ). The driver information will bling saying something wrong with your headlights.. but that'* ok.. it just reminds me that the kill switch is on ( and the fact I have no headlights ). When you flick the switch to complete the circuit again, the error goes off, and it will not affect your DRL'* or normal.

No the Harley missed the mark so it was back to more precise options and the double whammy was the running lights didn’t work after that. Easy fix really.
