Default Fuel system in 92 SSEI

Ok i posted previously about the stalling on right hand turns and stuff and i replaced the fuel filter and the strainer is being swapped tomorrow. Now what are the chances of this being fixed with the strainer? And also are there any other weak spots in the system that i should just change for preventative maintenance?

The 1992 fuel tank was very problematic. It'* pickup doesn't have proper baffling to support low fill, sharp turn situations. Was a problem on a 92 SSE i checked out. All you can do is keep it fuller, or swap out to a newer tank i believe.

Otherwise, if it happens, throw it into neautral right away, restart, and then shift back into gear. If need be, get off the road.

The strainer will fix your problem, since it is the root of the problem. I have the TSB in front of me.

John is correct. There is no difference between the 92-99 fuel tanks, and the re-worked strainer is the solution for the 92.

The old strainer is too short to reach fuel when it sloshes to the side on a right hand turn.
