i have a L67 fuel rail from a 95 L67 Buick Riv
here is what the connector from the vehicle to the rail looks like https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y2...ridswap005.jpg and then there is another quick connect on the nylon Fuel Lines shown here https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y2...ridswap007.jpg here is the Rail with the Metal quick connects removed https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y2...ridswap009.jpg https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y2...ridswap010.jpg here is the problem.... On my car i have this different quick connects at the fuel rail shown here Attachment 53881 and the nylon fuel lines are one piece there is not another quick connect as there is on the L67 fuel lines So i thought that i have some of the Fuel line connectors and i though i would see if they would work Attachment 53882 here is the quick connect on the L67 Rail Attachment 53883 NOW...the important part.... will the nylon fuel lines that i have on my car currently, accept the L67 fuel rail with the new quick connect clips on?? |
I believe it will... Take the L67 nylon line and try the other side and see if that works..

ok Well did slip on on but didnt totally connect it because i was worried that i couldnt get it off again
does any one have pics of the Series One L67 Fuel LINES and where they connect to the rail im wondering why the Buick Lines are so different, or is this the case on the Bonnevilles as well..... remember the L27 dont have a second disconnect like the Lines i have...the lines run in one piece all the way to the fuel filter....is the L67 this way as well? |
Pat, mine look like yours. I have a fuel rail of a 95 SSEi as well with the same connectors. I don't know why the Buick rail would be different.

just trying to get everything organized..... |
Others have done this.. I remember hearing the only thing they had to do was weasel the lines to the different location for the connection. Pretty sure they'll click right on.
|
FYI (without measuring) your rail looks exactly the same as the 93 L67 fuel rail I have in hand.
|
I know the fuel rails are the same for the L67's....
im more concerned about the quick connects that are on the car and that they look like can anyone with a Series 1 L67 please get pics of their fuel line quick connects at the fuel rail? |

ok.......doing my own research here
looking thru zillamotorsports.com i found the following pics here i can see a part of the TOP of the fuel line, even though the fuel rail is gone http://www.williamwren.com/Bonnevill...umba/sc_03.jpg here is another pic....look at the blue glove https://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/weekend3.jpg here is the fuel rail, and it appears as the clips are on the fuel rail like i have experimented with in the first post http://www.williamwren.com/Bonnevill...oved_parts.jpg now the interesting part....Bill has pics from a 95 Riv...you can see the fuel lines and the metal clips, and the yellow retainers..... https://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a...lwren/riv1.jpg now it appears as teh fuel lines on a Riv go towards the drivers side Attachment 53869 this would explain the difference in the connector and why the Riv Fuel lines have another quick connect in line i hope im on the right track, but would like Bill W to confirm since i took the pics from Him and he has personal experience in this |
I've got the same quick connectors on my car as on your car.
