fuel leak
i noticed after i filled up two days ago that after sitting at a light for a little bit when i start to get going again i noticed a gas smelled pulled over and uder the hood i notice my fuel line where it bend up and into the rail it was leaking with a pin ***** hole spraying gas onto the firewall (not good at all..... KABOOM!!!) so now she is sitting and im wondering if its better to replace the line with a OE line (expensive) or use high pressure braided line instead (cost effective)
if you guys can give me an idea or point me in a non-costly direction its for my 96 ssei

You mean something like this?
It cost me about $100 to do it. Toughest part was getting to the metal lines behind the passenger side strut. Doable easier if you coerce the lines out for a moment.

I think this fitting will screw into the filter and head back to the tank

A different connector suggestion

10' Summit braided hose

With mine I adapted the return line to 3/8" (-6AN) so I would be able to use all the same fittings seeing as 5/16" (-5AN) size fittings are more difficult to get a hold of
