Default fuel gauge is wrong

i would like to know if someone has an idea of what could cause this? for some reason when my fuel gauge is at 1/3 of a tank it is out of fuel and has time moves forward the tank becomes empty at a higher tank level.(when i bought the car, it would do this at 1/8th of a tank) thanks guys i know someone out there has the answer to my problem and if anyone else has had something like this happen to them please tell me what you did to resolve it. thanks again.

Any 92 needing a new pump, strainer, or sender should seriously consider a replacement tank from a 93-95 with the improved baffles. This is a safety issue.

Bonne is seperate pieces.

Fuel pump
Fuel Sender
Fuel Tank

WillWren is mentioning that we are aware that 92 model years had tanks that were less than desirable and you may want to consider upgrading.
