Default Front Wheel bearings for a '94 bonneville SE

Before I attempt my first wheel bearing job are there any tips or tricks that I should be aware of ? I'm hearing the growling noise from the front so I think that is the problem. Is it a good idea to replace in pairs? The replacements are a bit pricey (Timken), so I'm thinking of another brand. $100.00 for 1 Timken versus $57.00 for another brand.

Thanks for your time.

I replaced both mine at the same time and opted for the Timken'*. It'* a pretty easy job. The hardest part was breaking the hub nut loose, so if you have a good impact wrench, it will make short work of the job.

If you need brakes and rotors. now would be a good time to do the fronts while you have everything tore apart.

Thanks Guys....any problems with using anti-seize on the bolts/spindle nut...or would it be a waste of time?
