They may be the same.
Just compared part #'* on Rockauto.com, the modulator on both platforms are identical. Swap away!

Anyone know the procedure to bleed the ABS pump?

It'* the same procedure as bleeding your brakes. Nothing special in the 92-99 years. As for swapping them. It'* not bad. Takes 6 or so lines and a connector or two. Not fun..but not bad either.

Drats, double drats, The Park Avenue has traction control, no swapping. Guess I'm going to be running for a while without abs until I can spare the $675 for a new PMV or find a junk yard one. Thanks all for the help.

P.*. Does anybody know how to convince an old senile cat to start using her little box again, oh, never mind, I guess that'* a topic for another forum.

I had a 85 Chevy pickup that when I applied the brakes it would pull the truck over the white line on the hiway .Well I had the brakes completly rebuilt but they never replaced the front hoses. I went to a friend who had a garage and told him what was happening and he said it is not the hose that is bad on the side that skids but the other side because all the pressure is sent to one wheel that is not plugged
or collapsed. I hope this helps. I can talk over the phone better than on here duncan

Have the computer scanned at the garage. I have access to a MODIS system that can scan the ABS system of cars. You might see a code that was thrown for an ABS sensor (wheel bearing and hub assy). It wont turn on the SES light. My rear left does the same thing and that was the problem.

Interesting... I didn't think of a bad wheel sensor. I don't quite get how the wheel would stay locked up, but anything is possible. Before I address this again (replace the PM for $600+), I will see if I can get it scanned and see if that turns up anything, thanks
