Driving and engine died
In my heads up it said "Check Guages", and the Volt Meter idiot light came up.
Now, good thing this was going into my mothers work parking lot.
15 minutes later she started up. She would turn over before then, but she wouldn't start.
I'm thinking Coil/plugs/wires could as a possibility? She was running perfectly all day. She passed the inspection w/emmisions beautifully.

you may want to read the replies I got under "dies and won't start" and "dies and won't start update" just posted. I've been having similar trouble since November. If I ever find out the cause I'll post it. Good luck.

If you lost a coil, or even 2 or 3 plugs and wires, it would start, not just crank. I'd be looking at the fuel delivery and the ignition module below the coil packs. I'm not sure about vats. With a bad resistor in the key, I don't know if it will even crank. Anyone know? I do know if your PCM loses power, (or the fuse blows) it'll crank but not start. Check the fuses (under the hood, too), and the ignition module. Then check for pressure at the fuel rail. There'* a fitting designed for this.
