Me also thinks that yours is a series 2 so no paper clip code pulling for you, you need a scan tool.

Seriously though, will the Sun brand scanner/moniters pick up these codes?

Not that up' on sun brand but if its equipped with obd2 then your good to go.

Autotap is popular but you need a laptop and a 14 year old to work it

You don't need a scantool on OBD2 to pull the strut codes.
Follow the directions as stated.

For those how know the OBD game, keep in mind that 93 was the last year a scantool wasn't required to pull codes.....and 1994 was the first year of the electronic struts

You can get some air struts like Custom88 installed on his Riviera. I'm betting you will notice an extremely improved ride, just as he did.
