Im goin my water pump this weekend and just had a question. I want to flush my entire system, now if I disconnect one of the herater hoses after i drain the radiator and just run a hose from my house with running water and put it in the heater hose and leave the drain plug out of the radiator would that be ok and would it clean it enuff? Would it be better to do it though the hose that goes to the water pump or to the intake?

I like to disconnect both heater hoses and pull the T stat etc.

Flush the system from every direction available. Then after you think you are done..do it again and you will be surprised.

i have the flush and fill kit i just dont like cutting in to hoses i dont have. I think i need to do my water pump today cause its leaking really bad now i had a puddle under my car this morning and when i got to work its was comin out pretty good. So ill just flush out every things i can find . 2 or 3 times. thank you

I also suggest you disconnect your heater hoses and flush the heater core seperately. You do not want to force sludge or build up into the small heater core passages. It can cause premature core failure, in my experience.

so by disconnecting both heater hoses that would let me flush the heater separate..o0o wait i get it...

I agree on cuting the heater hoses. And on the 92-99'* there isn't a lot of hose to cut. Plus you cause a slight restriction in the hose with that T.

thats why i wasnt a huge fan of them and with the hoses being so short...I would just rather take my time and undo the hose clamps each time.
