The flowmaster is a chambered muffler. Some magnaflows are hollow (or atleast you can see from end to end). A stock resonator does A LOT for these cars. How are your tips relative to the bumper? My interior noise doubles at a minimum if i just have my 90* bends with no tips on, which are not exiting after the bumper.

Resonated tips won't help, and might "rice" the noise as there'* no reverb happening after the "resonator".

Let it break in, it'* brand new, and they need to break in, and mellow out. Check your padding/carpet as mentioned. Give it 1000k miles before you make a decision, it needs to be heat cycled.

But you're totally right. Mine has gotten less raspy and more "burbly" in the 10 months it'* been on there. Give it some time; you'll start to love it.

but yeah when i was atthe muffler shop they had some magnaflow and i could see right threw them except their was tiny holes and that lead to a padding or insulator.

1000k would be 1,000,000 miles.....

I was just giving you a hard time though.... no worries! I agree; there will come a day when you start to think, "Is my exhaust quieter than it used to be?" That'* the day you'll know you're totally used to it.
