Default Finally...It'* official

I am home for the long weekend and I will be replacing the timing chain on my car. Along with this, the water pump will be replaced and a number of gaskets. I will have to ask my dad on the specifics since he did all the research. We are starting early tomorrow and the labor is expected to be 5.5 hours. Hopefully its only a day job. I'll let you know the results (ie. mpg, restored power, etc)

Tomorrow must be the day for alot of us. My SC nosedrive rebuild is tomorrow. JSeabert is doing his water pump, too. Take some pics in there while you're at it. I'll do the same. I'm really curious to see the difference in length between the old chain and the new one.

will, i was actually just thinking about taking pics. I am on break right now. I have to go out and buy a pulley puller cause my dad got the wrong one. I also need to pick up oil and antifreeze. I will take pictures once the cover is off. Right now the motor mount is off and the engine suported and the oil pan is ready to drop off once i get to this once stupid bolt underneath the frigain oil pump. I am also going to be replacing the water pump while I am in there. I am so excited to see the differnce in the car once I am all done. I am hoping the car is done by this afternoon. So it doesnt have to sit in the garage all afternoon.
