I know this may sound funny, but is it possible to convert the bonneville to a dual exhaust system? If so, how does one wire in another O2 sensor?

On a 95 it'* isn't necessary to wire in a second O2 if you split it after the exhaust manifolds instead.

With a true dual exhaust, you'd need a bit of custom work to be done, and you'd have to be very careful not to lose too much backpressure. It would be a help to know what model you have in order to give you more specific advice.

Our exhausts are mandrel-bent stainless steel, and built for performance. The most important improvements are usually a higher-flowing Catalytic converter, and a performance muffler. Keep the pipes stock, especially if you're not supercharged.

What I would like to do is, turn this into a true dual exhaust. Keep the same diameter, and if I have to go smaller to keep the backpressure the same.
This is a 1995 Bonneville, V-6 3.8 non supercharged. It doesn't have any markings as far as SE, or SSE etc.
Also, I do realize that this would have to be a custom pipe job possibly with new catalytic converter and new piping.
Also, same engine, what is the little port on the left side of the intake for. I popped it off and it looks like some sort of oil reservoir or something. Cause I see traces of oil residue inside it.

ya know if you are set on it just go to a local muffler shop that does custumized exhaust maybe they didnt it before on a bonny? r i could b somethin new?

On an NA car I don't suggest going with dual exhaust, you will probably end up comprismising performance.

Keep the stock set up, just upgrade it. Its doesn't really make a lot of sense to spend that kinda of money on a performance mod and lose out on that wanted performance

Oh, I'm not really into street racing or anything high tech. I'm just one of those weird guys. Just like someday, If I ever get enough money, I want to change my 2002 Neon over to rear wheel drive and hopefully squeeze in a V-6. I know I know, wishfull thinkin. As they say here in NY. New York Lotto, Hey, you never know!
Yet that still leaves the question about the O2Sensor. Is it possible to splice into to the wiring of the other one and hope that the computer will "average" out the readings?
One of my buddies had a 1999 I think Pontiac Firebird, thing had 4 O2 Sensors.
