I need to get my lower intake gaskets changed out, I need a new EGR gasket too.. Somebody have the part numbers? My books seem to be missing the engine itself.

If you think of something I should go ahead and get while I'm in there, Lemme know

Did you try gmpartsdirect? I got: N/A intake gasket - 12338840 but it didn't specify lower.
I took it up to '95 and I got: Normally Aspirated, Lower 12537197 oddball....

Don't have one for the EGR yet. In any case, I'll see if I can get some help on it.

I wish I had part numbers for ya, I just regasketed everything I took apart, injector o rings, where the fuel lines bolt on, shop vac the lifter valley after scraping it all down.

oh yeah, I used Never Seize on the EGR pipe connection where it screws into the manifold, just in case

DrJay, I don't really trust that catalog on GMPD, it says in the fine print that it'* not their fault if they are wrong. I don't have the cash for "whoops".

crzydmnd72, I just heard some people have had problems with Fel-Pro on 3800s, And I really don't even want to do this once. Doing it twice is right near the top of the list of things to avoid, Even though I usually use Fel-Pro.

I'm thinking I ought to do a little write up with pictures, No promises it'll get done yet, It depends on how much time I have when it'* being done. I'd like to do it next weekend, But shipping may delay it.

I'm figuring:
Lower gasket set
TB Gasket
Check my plugs
Clean everything I can, a toothbrush will be my freind.
Throw on my spare TB, after it'* modded.

I just got a new EGR Valve Gasket, from Auto Zone. Which was from Fel Pro. It was $2.69, looked just like the factory one.. unless you want to go digging in my trash, I don't feel like getting it. Just go there, they'll have it, or have to order it. Just don't take your EGR Valve off, before you have the gasket .

95 Is a Series 2. Totally different gaskets.

I thought it was interesting that they didnt' bother designating lower gasket till 95
